My Current Obsession
Over the past summer, I mentored two PhD candidates who took on the challenging topic of weather forecasting using diffusion models! This project was part of the ECMWF Summer of Code and it was impressive to see what the different teams worked on! All projects, including the diffusion model, are open-source on Github!
I’m in Italy, doing some work from home, but frankly, I’d rather enjoy the sun at the beach today than write a long newsletter. Remember to take care of your mental health!
Thing I Like
I was rock climbing with some colleagues, but since I’m significantly heavier than them, we tried out the Edelrid Ohm, and it worked like a charm! Definitely a recommendation, from my end!
Tidbits from the Web
- Enjoy these horses going to town on some hay!
And with that enjoy the last sun rays of summer!
